Wonnnnderful! I'm 72, so I guess I'm in my Winter Season too. ,-) Happily, I embrace my inner Crone and don't fret much, over what's been "lost" along the way. Actually, what possible good does fretting over "losses" do? My feeling is that we should concentrate on what's "still working." Doing otherwise, is pretty silly. But you do remind me that I've not really sat down and pondered what this change of seasons, should mean to me, this time around. I feel we're pretty much moving into the Winter season now. What would I like to do, with this coming Winter? What sounds best? What do I want to spend my time on? I think it is loaded with antioxidants as the veggies simmer in the vegetable broth. I make a large pot of it and have it for lunch for several days. But I love about any soup. And being originally from Oklahoma, just pot of beans with a can of tomatoes and some kind of pork seasoning and cornbread is awesome! My standard soup for the winter is a vegetable.
