Mary at Little Red House (http://dearlittleredhouse.blogspot.com/) had a challenge to make a magazine cover with your blog. I went to the site at flickr and gave it a try, then my husband gave it a try, then we kept playing with the pictures, the colors, well….you get the idea. It was fun and rather addicting. It makes you ready to give Country Living a run for their money and produce your own magazine! I can see doing this with a cute picture of your children for the holiday season and sending it out as an email card, a graduation announcement, a new home photo, all sorts of things. What are your ideas on how you could use this?

Your magazine cover is absolutely fantastic. It’s fun! Of course it helps that I LOVE yellow roses. Thanks for stopping by my blog and for leaving your sweet comments. I’ll be back to visit again soon. ~Adrienne~
Thank you Adrienne! The roses are from David Austin English Rose Collection. They smell heavenly! They usually do a fabulous show in June, then not much the rest of the summer.
I did a magazine cover of my single son with his dog. I titled it Seattle Bachelor, then wrote: good looking, smart, rich. On the bottom I wrote: Must Love Dogs. It was funny and cute. I emailed it to family and they enjoyed seeing him on the “magazine cover”. I volunteered to mail it to single ladies, he declined.
What fun! Love your magazine cover. So pretty.
Hello…I stumbled onto your magazine cover site…and I think the flowers are lovely. I have not a clue where I am or how I got here..but following threads can be interesting.
What struck me is was the quote under your name “Mountain Moma” by Laura Ingalls Wilder concerning the sweet, simple things in life. I was a widow and was contacted by a wonderful man looking for a lady who love the “sweet, simple things in life.” That line struck me and four months later we married. His last name is Ingalls ..and now mine is also. Anyway…back to my adventuring through the maze of wonderful photo’s and and people.

How fascinating Mona! Stop by for a visit from time to time!
