Cecile Brunner is an antique variety of roses. They only bloom once a year, but what a show they put on! I planted one on each side of the arbor and as they grew, tied them to the arbor. They are about eight years old now and we aggressively trim them several times a year to keep them from growing too high. I selected them because they were an antique rose and I thought they would go with my old house. My favorite thing about June is when the arbor is covered with tiny pink roses.
